Company Overview

The Inter-American Foundation (IAF) is a small, transformative government agency that
advances U.S. development priorities in Latin America and the Caribbean. Congress created the
IAF with a very clear niche—instead of implementing large-scale, centralized programming, the
IAF provides small grants to promising community-led proposals. The IAF works across 24 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. We prioritize funding based on the potential of grants to benefit from our bottom-up approach and to advance strategic goals of the U.S. Government.
