Description

This professional position conducts systematic inquiry to understand how funding from Children’s Services Council (CSC) is used to improve child outcomes and reduce racial disparities.  Using a broad range of quantitative and qualitative methods, the evaluation officer performs complex statistical analyses, synthesizes data, and shared findings with funded programs, system leaders, and community residents.  This position promotes the use of evaluation from a system and program perspective and is responsible for building capacity by engaging in learning conversations with a variety of stakeholders with the purpose of transforming data into action. Applying project management skills and interdisciplinary expertise, the evaluation officer is responsible for overseeing, coordinating and managing internal and external evaluation projects and resources to achieve CSCs organizational goals.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Evaluation, Measurement, Applied Research, Statistics, Education, Public Health, Human Services, Public Administration, Social Science or closely related field, supplemented with five (5) years of professional experience in research, program and/or human services evaluation.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for the minimum requirements listed.
